Dear Supermarket,

I love Love LOVE your “Artisan Sourdough™” bread! I have always loved the taste of sourdough but was not so fond of the “heaviness” of the bread. The Artisan™ bread combines that slightly bitter taste that my mouth enjoys with a remarkably light and softly-textured dough for my long fingers to knead. However, could you please stop packaging the bread in that brittle plastic sheeting that splits and scrunches thus causing the bread to become prematurely stale. I have noticed that you use a softer, smoother plastic sheath for other flavours of your Artisan™ line of breads. Upon enquiry, I was informed that the “floppy” casing was a little on the longer side.

As we all know well, while length is definitely important, so is the ability to maintain satisfactory firmness without causing a loss of freshness.
