Sad sad sad day
A sad day today… sad, sad, sad… Hundreds of British people were killed in the WTC tragedy and the British were the first to send troops into Afghanistan. I feel no sense of torn allegiance as some have suggested I might… rather, I feel a huge pride and love for BOTH of my countries, and beyond that for our developing world.
I don’t have a perfect life, I never have, it’s been pretty tough what with one thing and another. But I’m glad I grew up in England and I’m glad I emigrated to America. No, my life isn’t perfect, but if I wasn’t here in this awesome country and grateful for the allegiance between my two countries, it could be one hell of a lot worse.
