Last night I stayed home and went to bed early, thanks to a middle ear infection… Despite having my right ear stuffed with cotton wool, I was still woken up around 1:45 a.m. by my next door neighbour’s loud performance … BRAVO!!! [loud applause and whistling] I couldn’t decide whether to walk over naked and offer to join in or head for the pool to skinny dip and cool off … thanks to the ear infection (and possibly a shred of decency) I went back to sleep … after accidentally eavesdropping for a few minutes.
